I have completed my B.Sc. In Environmental Science from Sardar Patel University V.V.Nagar, Gujarat. Then I pursued my M.S. In Environmental Conservation from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, USA where I specialized in Wildlife Conservation and Watershed Science. During M.S, my research (thesis) focused on Human wildlife conflict and tiger poaching in India. Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D in Conservation Criminology at Fisheries and Wildlife department, Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan (on going since August 2015). I am also employed as a research assistant at Michigan State University where I works on projects related to wildlife crime like poaching, illegal wildlife trade and wildlife parts smuggling. Along with his PhD, I am also pursuing a graduate certification in Gender justice and environmental change from Michigan State University. I am also working as a Social Scientist for WWF, India on Snow Leopard conservation. My father is a Bank Manager and my mother is serving as a Superintendent in Custom and Central Excise Department, Government of India. My younger brother is pursuing his M.B.A at New York Institute of Technology, Vancouver (Canada). We are an upper middle class, nuclear family with liberal values.
